Pin-up boards does not have affordance of pinning the paper clip or any other chits. As the same cloth covers the hard board and pin-up board, there is no differentiation between these boards unless you try stuffing pin in one. Reaching the board is another problem; especially when working, distance is too far to pin the paper clips. It is easy reach the hard board, users thus tend to avoid the pin-up board and end up using hard board as the pin-up board. User in many cases ends up mistaking and using hard board for pin-up board. |
